Junior Golf Tournament
The Arcadia Recreation and Community Services Department is offering a Junior’s Golf Tournament to be held at Arcadia Par-3 Golf Course (620 E. Live Oak Ave., Arcadia) on Saturday, April 10, at 12:30 p.m. The cost is $9.50 per youth 17 years of age and younger. Register at Arcadia Par-3 Golf Course or by calling 626-443-9367.

Boxing program
Duarte Parks and Recreation offers a youth boxing program for boys and girls ages 8 to 17. Registration is offered at the Duarte Teen Center. The gym is open from 4 to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday. There is a $10 monthly fee for each student.

Youth mini-soccer
Boys and girls are invited to participate in this youth sport played on a shorter field and with smaller goals. Registration has already started. Practices begin on March 29. The fee is $20. Sign-ups are held at City Hall, Beardslee Park, Royal Oaks Park, Otis Gordon Park and Valley View Elementary.

Skateboard lessons
Duarte Parks and Recreation offers an eight-week course for beginning and intermediate skaters. Instruction begins Saturday, April 3. The fee is $40. Classes are for children ages 6-14. For information, call 626-357-7931.
