Rose Bowl Water Polo Club team wins Florida tournament

rose18_500The Rose Bowl Water Polo Club’s age 18 and under team won the gold medal at the Seventh Annual South Florida International Water Polo Tournament, which was held from Feb. 13 to Feb. 18, at Coral Springs, Fla.

Rose Bowl’s team defeated Spandau (Germany), Ventura County Premier (USA), Riptides (USA), Windermere (USA), DDO (Canada) and tied York (Canada) to win the gold.

Team members include James Adams, Richard Arnett, Jeffrey Bassette, Cameron Chaves, Rane Colvin, Tommy Gilfillan, Nicholas Grover, Max Hurst-Mendoza, Westen Lawton, Matthew May, Raymond McIntyre III, Brian McSweeney, Paul Miernicki, Ethan Pascual, Matthew Peters, Jack Plaga, Chris Veselich and Tristan Winterhalter.
