Altadena Rallys Around Slain Teen

20090515_102630_sx16-violence1 Last night community members in Altadena held a rally at the corner of Fair Oaks Avenue and Altadena Drive where 17 year old Jerrill Dulaney was shot and killed last Saturday. Abundant Harvest Christian Center in Pasadena organized the rally in response to the recent violence in the community – and staff writer Robert S. Hong from the Pasadena Star-News was there to cover the event.

“For someone to murder him out here in this open area means they don’t think neighbors will speak up,” said Anthony McFarland, a pastor at Abundant Harvest Christian Center in Pasadena. “This is unnacceptable and our community is not going to stand for it.”
