From Experience L.A.:
For more than a century, boys and girls have had a fascination with trains. Whether its counting the cars as the train goes by or waving at the Engineer in hopes he or she will wave back; there still seems to be something special about watching trains. You could say that members of the Pasadena Model Railroad Club are in many ways still those same children. No matter what they do in life, the fascination in railroading is one that these members have never outgrown. That’s what has brought them together to build and operate one of the worlds largest and finest HO scale model railroads known as the Sierra Pacific Lines. Join us for GREAT Family Fun! Cameras and Video Cameras are Welcome! Bring your binoculars for up close action!
About The Pasadena Model Railroad Club
The Pasadena Model Railroad Club operates the Sierra Pacific Lines, one of the largest HO Scale operating Model Railroads in the world covering almost 5000 square feet. The railroad has over 30,000 feet of hand laid steel rail. The 1700 foot single to four track mainline with ten cabs allows for operation of multiple 30+ foot trains (up to 60 cars long). Yard panels throughout the railroad allow for operation of another 15 to 20 trains. We’ve even got 300 feet of traction or shortline and are looking for people who would be interested in expanding our operations there.
