Pasadena’s 4th of July celebration in the Rose Bowl has kept our Star Spangled spirit flying for 83 years. The day combines a safe and entertaining family activity and a most patriotic tribute to our American heritage with the biggest and best fireworks show in Southern California.
For the second year, the Rose Bowl presents Drum Corps International (DCI), Marching Music’s Major Leagues, with five of the nation’s best Drum Corps units performing their field shows and music with amazing precision. Last year their electrifying show captivated the audience with their youthful energy and excitement.
Then the night will erupt with a world-class fireworks show that will thrill and delight families from throughout Southern California. Fireworks show producers, Pyro Spectaculars by Souza, has become known as the “Fireworks Ambassadors to the World” by developing revolutionary choreography methods and precisely firing fireworks to music at the biggest events around the globe.
Darryl Dunn, General Manager of the Rose Bowl Stadium said, “Fireworks in the Rose Bowl have been a treasured Pasadena tradition for 83 consecutive years. We consider our 4th of July celebration as one of our core events.”
