women-celticMulti-platinum harpist Lisa Lynne joins forces with two global songstresses, Ashley Maher and Adjoa, for this uplifting acoustic evening of Celtic, folk and African music.

Sounding like Joni Mitchell goes to Africa, Ashley Maher’s extraordinary music fuses with West African and Latin rhythms with uplifting and inspiring results. She is a world class entertainer with four critically acclaimed albums, two for Virgin UK.

Adjoa is a beautiful singer and multi-instrumentalist whose voice will touch your heart. She is a fresh, young, incredible talent who’s star is on the RISE. In her acoustic solo gigs she juggles between keyboard to shakers, guitar to djembe singing with a trained voice that cuts deep into the heart, creating an eclectic mix … likened to the stylings of Joni Mitchell, Carol King, Sheryl Crow, Sade, Norah Jones, & Ella Fitzgerald with hints of Eva Cassidy and India Arie.

Lisa Lynne is an internationally acclaimed Celtic Harpist who has sold over half a million albums of original music featuring her Celtic harp. She has been a self taught multi-instrumentalist since childhood, and has spent the last eighteen years pursuing her passion for the Celtic harp. She tours the country 40+ weeks a year performing at the nations finest music and arts festivals, and has been a long time artist on the Windham Hill label and active in their concert series each year.

Lisa is also the very first musician in residence at one of the worlds leading cancer centers, City of Hope, where her innovative music programs inspire patients and families to make music a part of their healing process. Her unprecedented success has won her numerous grants and accolades and has grown to include six Los Angeles area hospitals implementing her where Lisa oversees their healing music programs.

These three artists originally came together to perform for Lisa’s Harps-for-Hearts concert series at The City of Hope and together created such musical magic, they were determined to reunite at The Coffee Gallery. Expect voices and harmonies from the angels, chords from the clouds, rhythms from the earth, and plenty of good stories in between. Promises to be an uplifting and beautiful night.
