Juni has elevated the rarely practiced genre of true musical storytelling to a place of transcendent beauty… an honest presentation of human emotion, of pathos and passion, of joy and spirit and celebration. Juni belongs to the western community, and all who treasure the western and cowboy lifestyles should thank the stars in their big, open skies for her talent.
Juni has recently been featured for an award and recognition of her talents: Western Heritage Awards National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum in early April, 2009.
First presented in 1961, the National Cowboy & Western Heritage Museum Western Heritage Awards were established to honor and encourage the legacy of those whose works in literature, music, film, and television reflect the significant stories of the American West.
PLUS…the outstanding musical talents of: GARY ALLEGRETTO….Singer, songwriter. and performing musician Gary Allegretto recently was recently honored with True West Magazine’s “2009 Best of the West Award”. His new CD release Harmonicowboy has been heralded by prominent folks in the Western music world.
Renowned cowboy performer Dave Stamey says ” plays harmonica the way Casey Tibbs rode broncs”. Cowboy columnist Rick Huff call’s Gary’s music “Fun with a capitol F… infectious and irresistible… about as cowboy as it gets.” Allegretto will be joined at the Coffee Gallery Backstage by the sensational guitarist Ian Espinoza.
